Twenty-five years ago, I was inspired to go back to school after my younger daughter was diagnosed with a sensorineural hearing loss. I spent many hours observing her speech therapy sessions and then even more hours reinforcing what she learned in those sessions. Speech therapy changed the course of my daughter's life. One day it hit me that I wanted to help children the way my daughter had been helped and I went back to school!

Throughout my 20-year career, I have worked extensively with children diagnosed with expressive and receptive language disorders, auditory processing disorder, dyslexia, motor planning disorders, phonological disorders, executive functioning weaknesses, and hearing loss. My approach is always to meet students where they are, provide individualized support, and celebrate their progress—no matter how big or small. I coordinate closely with parents, teachers, and other service providers to ensure therapy goals are aligned across settings.

I hold licenses in both Connecticut and New York, my TSSLD in New York, and the Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA.
